As part of our ongoing security maintenance operations, emergency patches were deployed approximately 48 hours ago on the OpenStack Identity service (Keystone) to address five recently disclosed CVEs.
These vulnerabilities were publicly disclosed today at 15:00 UTC.
The applied upstream patches are known to introduce behavioral changes and regressions, particularly impacting: - Trusts - Application Credentials
Customers using these features are advised to verify that their applications, automations, and authentication workflows continue to operate as expected.
If you experience issues related to these changes, please contact our support team and provide details about your workflow so we can assist you in identifying compatible alternatives or adjustments.
Please note that these regressions are intentional upstream security changes required to mitigate the vulnerabilities. According to the upstream project maintainers, reverting or modifying this behavior is currently not planned, as it could reintroduce the security risks.
